I love a good festival, even better if the tickets are *free* or £8.50 for postage.
Hyped up by seeing Clara Amfo in the flesh and being broadcast live on the Newsbeat website there was no stopping us. We sprinted across to the main stage to see One Republic open the days events.
There was a little bit of a wait..
Feeling lunchy we wandered around the food stalls, there was a seemingly endless choice but I settled for a happy maki sushi roll. Yes you read right, a whole roll of sushi all to yourself to munch away at, and its all vegetarian too so you can still feel very healthy.
I plumped for the fully loaded, which includes vegetarian chicken, sweet potato, avocado, cucumber, toasted sesame seeds and teriyaki sauce with ginger. Soo good!
We ate our lunch under the welcome shade of this enormous oak tree that had been decorated with colourful umbrellas in case of rain - which luckily didn't happen.
More to come in part 2!
