Can we just talk about this picture? I'm kind of obsessed with it, I'm just so pleased with how it turned out! Its all thanks to my beautiful new camera that I recently got for my 21st birthday! So expect to see a bit of an improvement in the photography on here, but also bear with me as I'm still learning how to handle a DSLR.
Goals for September:
1. Do some new season shopping.
Not too much, but I have some pieces in mind that I think will really update my wardrobe for A/W 2016. I will also be doing an autumn fashion post sometime soon!
2. Practice my modern calligraphy.
Another wonderful gift I received for my birthday was the modern calligraphy kit from Quill London. I've been wanting to start doing calligraphy and lettering for ages now so I'm so excited to practice and get better.
I live in a beautiful city, so one of my favourite things to do at any time of year is to walk around it, there are so many lovely places to go and I feel very privileged to live here. However, I also want to try and get out to some of the surrounding countryside this month in the last of the warm weather.
4. Get ready to go back to University.
Its been a very long summer break, so I'm looking forward to getting back to lectures and having some academic work to do (Although I'm sure I will be regretting saying that once the real work begins and I have to knuckle down on my Dissertation!)
5. Read.
I've always loved reading and although recently I've been on holiday and been able to get back into it, in general I've got much worse at making time for myself to read actual books, not just news articles on the internet. So soon I'm going to make a trip to Oxfam books and pick up a stack to cosy up with in the evenings.
